What does it take to make AI truly useful for investment research? That was a key question at our recent Sydney event, co-hosted with Rogo, which brought together investors and technology leaders to explore how AI is transforming the way investment professionals access, evaluate and use market intelligence. The key theme emerging from the conversation was that as AI models become increasingly accessible and commoditized, the real differentiation is moving to what sits around the model. For investment professionals, that means having access to the right data, context, expertise and workflows, and combining these in a way that supports better research and decision-making. At Third Bridge, this is central to how we think about the future of investment research: using AI to couple market data and Third Bridge’s proprietary expert perspectives to help investment professionals move from simply ‘finding’ information to generating deeper, actionable insights. A few themes stood out from the conversation: 🔹 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 + 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿: Better inputs lead to more relevant, trusted insights. 🔹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗵: AI is more powerful when paired with expert insights and context. 🔹 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: The goal is to strengthen, not replace, investment decision-making. 🔹 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁: Moving from asking questions to AI that works across data, insights and workflows. Speak to us about how Third Bridge is helping investment teams combine market data and proprietary expert insight with AI workflows: https://okt.to/nYTRap A big thank you to our speakers Jamie P., Armina "Arms" Rosenberg and Ryan Faulkner for an insightful discussion, and to everyone who joined us in Sydney. #WeAreThirdBridge #InvestmentResearch #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #MarketIntelligence

As AI takes on more consequential work in financial institutions, boards need to understand how those systems operate, how they are controlled, and who is accountable for their decisions. That’s why we are delighted to welcome Rahul Rekhi, President of Rogo, as a guest speaker at the Stanford Directors' College’ Agentic Audit Forum. Presented by Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University Governance and the Alpha Institute for AI Governance, the Forum takes place October 23–25, 2026. Rahul brings an exceptional combination of experience as a financier, policymaker, and technologist. At Lazard, he founded and led the special opportunities group and advised on transactions representing $200 billion in deal value. His public-sector experience spans the U.S. Treasury, the White House, and the World Bank. Today, at Rogo, he is helping financial institutions integrate AI into the work of analyzing markets, evaluating investments, and executing deals. That perspective matters for directors. Understanding the technology is essential. So is understanding the financial decisions, institutional responsibilities, and market consequences surrounding it. For audit committees, the questions are concrete: • What authority should an AI agent have within a financial workflow? • What evidence should management provide that controls are working? • How should accountability and assurance evolve as systems become more autonomous? These are the conversations we are convening at Stanford. Learn more and request an invitation: https://lnkd.in/gXUh3Jw2 #CorporateGovernance #AgenticAI #AgenticAudit #AuditCommittee #AIGovernance

Rogo’s proprietary financial benchmark, built around the real work financial professionals deliver, is becoming the industry standard for evaluating AI in finance. Big Finance Bench (BFB) is now part of the Specialized Intelligence Index (SII) from Fireworks AI, which brings together vertical-specific benchmarks to evaluate models on the work they are actually being asked to perform. Built and graded by real finance practitioners, BFB evaluates models across valuation, financial statement analysis, forecasting, and other complex financial workflows. It measures not only whether a model reaches the right answer, but whether it uses the right sources, applies the right financial definitions, and performs the analysis correctly. For financial institutions, these distinctions matter. Rogo uses BFB to route financial work to the models that offer the best balance of quality and cost for each task, rather than relying on a single model across every workflow. We are pleased to announce our partnership with Octus, bringing its credit intelligence and data directly into Rogo. Mutual customers can now make Octus a configurable source within Rogo agents, giving them access to expert analysis, proprietary data, private company financials, debt documents and restructuring intelligence. Firms can build that intelligence directly into agent workflows across underwriting, monitoring, private credit, distressed credit and restructuring, from screening credits and analyzing capital structures to monitoring portfolios and preparing investment committee materials. Over the last two weeks, John Willett (cofounder), Séverine RAYMOND SOULIER (VP of EMEA Sales), and I spent time with our clients and partners across London, Madrid, and Paris. Many of Europe's largest financial institutions already run on Rogo, and EMEA is one of the fastest-growing parts of our business. Our conversations with their leadership teams sharpened a few observations: - Sovereignty is THE European question. But the most sophisticated institutions have moved past owning the model. Sovereignty is owning your data, workflows, and evals - and keeping them portable into any interface. That matters even more in Europe, where each market has its own regulator. - Every firm has a version of an internal build. We think that's necessary, and we look forward to building with the teams behind them. - The conversation has shifted from productivity to edge. If every bank has the same models, differentiation comes from your own institutional knowledge, codified and compounding as your people (and their agents) work. We recently announced a strategic funding round, and we now have 9 global banks on our cap table, including Barclays, Societe Generale, and BNP Paribas. There's no stronger signal than the world's leading financial institutions being both our customers and our investors. The next chapter of this industry is being written on both sides of the Atlantic, and we're excited to partner with the best financial institutions in the world to build the AI-native institutions of the next decade. We are hiring quickly across London, Paris, and Madrid!! Please reach out!!

Thank you to Informa for hosting another excellent SuperReturn conference in Los Angeles this week. #Rogo was proud to sponsor an event that brings together leaders across private equity and private credit. As committee chair, I had the opportunity to speak with many investors about how AI is beginning to reshape the investing workflow—from accelerating research to expanding coverage and improving decision-making. Looking forward to continuing the conversation at future Informa events. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out or learn more at #Rogo.ai.

Last week, the #rogo EMEA team travelled to London, Paris and Madrid with our co-founders, Gabriel Stengel and John Willett, meeting the people shaping the future of finance. The opportunity for Rogo in the region is enormous. Rogo has already been named Wall Street’s favorite AI startup.   My ambition is to make it the leading AI platform for European finance. Thank you to all the clients who welcomed us and shared their time and perspectives. More cities and plenty more to come.   #EMEA #AI #Finance
