  • When harvest conditions get challenging, having the right equipment can help keep your operation moving. • More control options mean more ways to tailor the machine to the operator. John Deere’s shift from the traditional IVT scroll wheel introduces CommandX, CommandX Plus and CommandX Pro, giving operators more flexibility in how they interact with their equipment. The goal is to help operators choose a control setup that aligns with their preferences and the way they work. #RDOEquipment #JohnDeere #PrecisionAg

  • As crews head into the final stretch of the construction season, every day becomes more valuable. Colder temperatures, tighter schedules and changing job site conditions can put additional pressure on equipment, operators and project timelines. When that happens, what's most important to keeping work moving? Vote below and tell us why in the comments. • Working in Yellowstone National Park requires balancing productivity with precision. With peak-season traffic, winding roads, changing grades and wildlife activity, crews needed to complete a mill-and-replace project efficiently and reopen the road as quickly as possible. Using a WIRTGEN W200Fi, the crew was able to mill more than 7 feet in a single pass, helping complete the 26-foot-wide roadway in just four passes. Fewer passes helped keep production moving while minimizing disruption to park visitors. For contractors facing tight schedules and challenging conditions, the right equipment can make a measurable impact on efficiency, quality and project performance. • Big trees. Big cleanup. Big productivity. When the job involves large-scale tree removal, having the right equipment can make a big difference in keeping work moving efficiently. Watch David's Tree Service, Inc. put the Vermeer Corporation CTX100 mini skid steer and AX17 brush chipper to work, helping move material, process debris and keep the job site moving. With the right equipment on the job, crews can spend less time handling debris and more time focused on getting the work done. 🎥 Lance Barker #RDOEquipmentCo #Vermeer #TreeRemoval

  • Two minutes of preparation can make a difference when harvest begins. 🚜🌾 As combine technology advances, preseason calibration is becoming an increasingly important part of harvest prep. Taking a few minutes to calibrate new camera systems before heading to the field can help ensure your machine is ready when it’s time to get to work. That’s just one of the topics covered in the latest Agriculture Technology Podcast, recorded live at the Big Iron Farm and Construction Show. The conversation also explores MY27 X9 combine updates, new CommandX™ controls for 8 Series tractors, and the latest John Deere automation technologies. 🎙️ Listen to the latest episode: https://lnkd.in/dfDVYg5v #RDOEquipmentCo #JohnDeere #AgTechPodcast

  • Setting machine boundaries doesn't have to be complicated. On John Deere P-Tier excavators, virtual fences can be configured directly through the in-cab display for functions like ceiling, reach, floor and swing limits. Operators can position the machine where they want a movement boundary to stop, select "match" and set that point as the maximum limit. Whether working around structures, utilities or other site obstacles, virtual fences allow operators to establish machine boundaries based on the demands of the task at hand. Adjustments can be made directly from the display, making it easy to fine-tune settings as job site conditions change. By matching the machine's current position to a virtual fence setting, operators can create customized movement limits without complicated setup.
