A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of traveling to Washington, DC for the 2025 Marriott Hospitality Excellence Awards Celebration, and I’m still reflecting on what a special experience it was. I’m truly humbled and honored to have received the Department Leader of the Year Award for 2025. It was even more meaningful to share this recognition alongside Allison Mitchell, recipient of the Jim Conley Award, and Vadim, who was also recognized as a Department Leader of the Year. Congratulations to you both! A heartfelt thank you to my OTO Development family for your continued support, encouragement, and belief in me. Thank you to Marriott International for such a memorable experience. Visiting beautiful DC and having the opportunity to visit Marriott headquarters was something I’ll always remember. Ten years ago, AC Hotel Times Square General Manager Glenda Gomez’s then 8-year-old nephew, Ivan, was involved in a terrible accident that began a long and difficult road to recovery. For nearly a year, Cohen Children's Medical Center became a second home to Glenda and her family. The doctors, nurses and staff cared for Ivan with incredible compassion, skill and dedication. So when Glenda attended a recent Marriott Business Council meeting and learned that this year’s fundraising efforts would benefit Cohen Children’s Medical Center, the cause immediately became personal. The team at AC Hotel Times Square jumped in, opening a lemonade and hot dog stand and raising more than $3,248, surpassing their fundraising goal! We’re incredibly proud of Glenda and the entire AC Hotel Times Square team for rallying around a cause so close to home.
