Phoenix, here we come! We’re kicking off our 2026 International Fastener Expo plans as the exclusive Lead Tech Sponsor of the inaugural International Fastener and Assembly Summit on October 7. Optimas leaders will be part of the conversation throughout the day: Mark Korba, COO, will moderate “Global Supply Chain Resilience: Building the Next-Generation Production Ecosystem and Paul Przyby, SVP, Sales, will lead the lunch roundtable, “Fasteners in Focus: Decisions that Shape Acquisition Risk, Cost and Performance.” We look forward to sharing how Optimas integrates fastener manufacturing, distribution, engineering and quality to help industrial producers reduce risk and improve performance. And this is just the beginning. More from Optimas at IFE coming soon. #IFAS #IFE #OptimasSolutions #LeadTech #FastenerIndustry #Manufacturing #SupplyChainResilience

Some of the best conversations with a team happen outside of a conference room. During my visit to Monterrey in August, I had the opportunity to spend time with my International Trade team — talking through the work in front of us, the challenges we’ve faced, and the kind of team and culture we want to continue building together. There is real value in working through difficult things as a team. But there’s also real value in knowing when to put the work aside, put your hair up in the rainy Monterrey humidity, and just have some fun! Our International Trade and IT teams did exactly that with a night at Topgolf. There was plenty of laughter, some highly questionable golf, and, most importantly, some genuinely great conversation. I came away from the trip reminded that strong teams aren’t built only through meetings, goals and deliverables. They’re built through trust, candor, resilience and the relationships we develop along the way. A special shout-out to our IT colleagues who joined us for the evening. I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know you better — and the conversations were every bit as good as the golf was entertaining. Thanks to the Monterrey team for the hospitality, the openness and a memorable evening. Looking forward to what we continue to build together. #TeamCulture #Leadership #InternationalTrade #Monterrey #Optimas

Can you accurately answer these three questions about your supply chain? Do you know the true total landed cost of your top ten critical parts? Do you have qualified regional alternatives for the parts where downtime would cost you most? Do you have a written plan if a single overseas supplier goes down for thirty days? If you hesitated on any of these, there may be hidden risk in your supply chain. Our new guide includes a full self-assessment checklist to assess your risk. Regular expedited shipments or gap buys to cover shortages. Safety stock creeping up. Frequent excess & obsolete meetings with suppliers. A single-supplier strategy for fasteners. These are warning signs, rather than isolated events, that your sourcing strategy may be carrying more risk than necessary. Our new guide helps OEM purchasing and supply chain leaders spot the indicators and minimize them in your strategy. Learn more about your operation's exposure to risk. PPAP Myth vs. Reality The Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) consists of 18 elements designed to establish confidence in production processes. Misconceptions about PPAP can delay or derail the delivery of critical parts. At Optimas, our Quality Team uses PPAP as evidence that each partner in the supply chain has the capabilities to deliver parts according to design requirements. We've seen these four myths repeatedly cause confusion: Myth #1: "PPAP is just paperwork" Reality: It's evidence of process capability and quality assurance across 18 distinct elements developed by AIAG. Myth #2: "One PPAP covers all future orders" Reality: Changes in materials, processes, tooling, or suppliers require new PPAP submissions. Myth #3: "All suppliers submit the same PPAP level" Reality: Five levels exist (1-5), determined by customer requirements and part criticality. Myth #4: "PPAP approval means zero defects forever." Reality: PPAP establishes baseline capability. Continuous monitoring and quality controls maintain that standard. Our dedicated team specializes in processing quick, accurate part approvals using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), root cause analysis, and FMEA to effectively diagnose, correct, and mitigate risk from development through product launch. Understanding what PPAP actually is—and isn't—helps prevent delays, improves quality and ensures your supply chain delivers on time. #QualityAssurance #PPAP #ManufacturingQuality #SupplyChain #EngineeringExcellence
