  • Real impact starts with real people. Long before Brandon Hudson was a multi-unit Marco’s Pizza franchisee, he was a kid in a Junior Achievement USA classroom learning early lessons about money, business, and opportunity. Those lessons really took hold as Brandon became President of the Marco’s Pizza Foundation, where he helps ensure the next generation of kids gets the same shot. Brandon’s story is what makes our Foundation partnership with Junior Achievement so important. It’s the full-circle moment for someone who knows firsthand what that support can do for kids. To date, the Marco's Pizza Foundation has contributed more than $1 million to Junior Achievement USA, helping fund financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs for students across the country. The Foundation has also given $475,000 to No Kid Hungry, supporting meals and food programs for kids who need them, bringing our total charitable giving to more than $1.5 million across all partners! And through employee engagement programs like our We're Golden, we equip franchisees with the tools they need to cultivate a thriving store culture built on growth, recognition, hospitality, and opportunity at every level. We are so proud of our franchisees who carry on this giving spirit and the generosity of our guests. A huge thank you to everyone involved!

  • Real estate development is one of the biggest challenges facing franchise growth today and franchisors have an important role to play in helping franchisees navigate it. In a new article for QSR Magazine, Marco’s Pizza Chief Development Officer Gerardo Flores shares how leading franchise brands are adapting their approach to real estate, from greater franchisor involvement and data-driven site selection to incentives and nontraditional development opportunities. “For franchisees to succeed, franchisors must stay actively involved when evaluating potential sites,” said Flores. At Marco’s, we believe strong development is about more than finding a location. It’s about providing franchisees with the data, expertise, support and resources they need to make informed real estate decisions and build for long-term growth. As costs rise and prime real estate becomes more competitive, collaboration between franchisors and franchisees has never been more important. • At Marco’s Pizza, our commitment to the communities we serve goes beyond our restaurants. It’s inspiring to see our store leaders and team members come together to show gratitude and make a positive impact in their local communities. Thank you to all first responders for your service and sacrifice. And thank you to our Corporate Store teams for representing Marco’s Pizza and living out our commitment to community.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the bravery and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger to help others. I’m especially proud of our Corporate Stores who took time today to visit local fire departments and deliver pizzas as a small way of saying thank you to the first responders who continue to serve and protect our communities every day. Across our company-owned stores, our teams have the opportunity to make an impact that goes beyond the four walls of our restaurants. Seeing our store-level leaders and team members get out into their communities and show their appreciation is something worth celebrating. These pictures represent more than delivering pizzas. They represent gratitude, community, and taking the time to recognize those who dedicate their lives to serving others. Thank you to our first responders for everything you do, and a huge shoutout to our teams for representing Marco’s Pizza and our commitment to the communities we serve. We remember. We honor. We thank you. #September11 #NeverForget #FirstResponders #MarcosPizza #CompanyOperations #Community #Leadership #Teamwork Katie Merritt Tammy Doty Marco's Pizza (Marco's Franchising, LLC)

  • We’re proud to see Marco’s Pizza Area Representative and franchisee Jacob Webb sharing his insights on sustainable franchise growth in a recent article for Franchising.com. Drawing from more than a decade of experience building a multi-brand franchise portfolio, Jacob explores an important challenge many multi-unit operators face: the systems that work for a few locations don’t always scale as a business grows. His key takeaway? Sustainable growth requires building the right infrastructure before it’s needed—from investing in leadership and creating strong reporting systems to evaluating new opportunities based on today’s economic realities. Jacob’s experience and perspective offer valuable insights for franchisees looking to grow while maintaining consistency, operational excellence and a strong customer experience. Congratulations, Jacob, on a great article and for sharing your knowledge with the broader franchising community! Read the full article on Franchising.com.

  • Rollercoasters and General Managers, now that’s how you do a Summit! 🎢 This past month we shut down the spreadsheets and headed to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio for our annual GM Summit for our Corporate stores. In true Marco’s fashion, the summit opened with recognition and celebration. Corporate store GMs have consistently held the No. 1 spot on our operations scorecard, with a score ranging above 90% each period of 2026 so far. Additionally, a number of our Corporate store GMs remain on the Top 10 Operations Scorecard list period after period. While at the summit, GMs mapped out the transformation responsible for these achievements and discussed the roadmap that will keep this momentum going. A key component of that roadmap is keeping Marco's culture front and center so that they are strengthening relationships and building trust. “Culture is built through everyday behaviors,” said Division Vice President for Company Operations, Jeff Tisdel. Additionally, he discussed the transition from “Good to Great” within the Corporate store portfolio and reiterated the pivotal leadership role each GM plays in the face of culture, operations, and even unexpected challenges. Jeff challenges Corporate store GMs to go after continuous improvement and persistent engagement, both inwardly within their teams and outwardly with guest interactions and community members. Through consistent communications, empowerment, care, and honest feedback, they all have helped to move the business forward. “In my experience, when team members feel genuinely supported, they bring more energy, pride, and commitment to their work and that translates directly into stronger operations,” said Corporate Business Leader, Bianca Benedetto. The summit wrapped with family fun on rides and making lasting memories! This event was a reminder of what we have built together. A thank you to our General Managers and to their families, as this is an endeavor that affects the whole family. It's a moment to show that we are investing in you just as much as you invest in this brand. That’s the culture we’re building, one GM Summit, one family, and one slice at a time.  Curious what it's like to build a business, and a life, with Marco's Pizza? Let's talk franchising. 🍕

  • Why Brands Need to Connect to Their Communities in Order to Scale    Bianca Benedetto a Corporate Business Leader at Marco’s Franchising, LLC shares her experience first starting with the brand and how it helps her today in her current role.  "I first started at Marco’s Pizza in the driver’s seat of a delivery car. Back then, I was simply trying to make ends meet. I never even considered that this job could potentially lead to a fruitful and long-term career that would involve running multiple locations across the Toledo area." Marco’s Pizza has a strong foundation of corporate social responsibility via the Marco’s Pizza Foundation and builds on its principles by encouraging owners to give back. The brands that succeed are the ones that genuinely treat community as part of operations.     Bianca has instilled the following tactics across her locations:  Hire and promote locally: People who already belong to the community don’t have to fake their connections. Listen to your team members: Build an open dialogue and listen to their ideas.  Show up before you are needed: Build a natural presence in the community before any big activations.
