✨ This birthday, I gave myself something I don't always make enough room for: time with me. I took a solo trip to Washington, D.C. to explore, reflect, and simply enjoy my own company. While visiting the city's iconic landmarks, standing at the Lincoln Memorial felt especially meaningful. Working for Lincoln Financial has been an important part of my journey, not just professionally, but personally. The opportunities I've had along the way have helped me grow, challenge myself, and build a life I'm incredibly proud of. The past year, in particular, has given me a lot to reflect on. In October 2025, I moved to Charlotte on my own and made the intentional decision to return to the office three days a week. New city, new routine, new experiences and plenty of growth. Along the way, I've learned that I'm capable of more than I sometimes realize. I've learned that growth rarely feels comfortable while you're in it and independence isn't about doing everything alone. Some of the greatest parts of my journey have come from the people who have encouraged me, challenged me, and supported me along the way. Which brings me back to something that has become increasingly meaningful to me: Me. Us. We. 🤍 Me: Having the confidence to choose growth and believe in myself. 🤍 Us: Appreciating the people who make the journey richer and remind me I don't have to navigate it alone. 🤍 We: Understanding that together, we can accomplish far more than we ever could on our own. This trip was a reminder to pause and celebrate how far I've come, rather than immediately focusing on what's next. Standing at the Lincoln Memorial, I felt grateful for the journey that brought me there, proud of the woman I'm becoming, and excited for everything still ahead.
