  • Climate Week NYC once again underscored the remarkable pace of investment, innovation and activity across climate, energy, infrastructure, and environmental markets. It was a privilege to spend the week engaging with investors, policymakers, project developers, and industry leaders who are shaping the evolution of new projects, technologies and cutting-edge approaches across these sectors. Throughout the week, Latham was proud to host and participate in a wide range of discussions and events with organizations including GCCSI, Ponterra, C2ES, the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force, Kinetic Coalition, Closed Loop Partners, Agendi, and many others. Special thanks to our speakers and moderators who contributed valuable insight to the discussions, including Eli Katz, Matthew Henegar, Jared Daniels, Jessica Marcus, Niall MacDowell, Kurt Waltzer, and Matt Bright for the GCCCSI event; Betty M. Huber, Jill Blickstein, Arnaud Brohe, and Maria Bianculli for the Agendi event; and Michael Dreibelbis for the Ponterra event. Topics ranged from carbon markets, carbon management, and climate finance to natural capital, circular economy solutions, sustainable infrastructure, and the evolving energy needs of the digital economy. What stood out most was the continued focus on practical implementation and cross-sector collaboration. The most impactful conversations brought together stakeholders from business, finance, and government to identify scalable solutions and accelerate progress. Thank you to our clients, colleagues, and partners for the thoughtful discussions throughout the week. We look forward to continuing these conversations and helping organizations navigate the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of the energy transition and climate economy.
