Last month, colleagues from across Lactalis USA came together in Londonderry, New Hampshire, for the first-ever in-person Employee Resource Group Leader’s summit in company history. Members of our EmpowHer ERG steering committee spent two days reflecting on the group's growth, discussing the success of events and webinars over the past year, and exploring new ways to engage women across all parts of the business, from manufacturing plants and field teams to remote and corporate roles. For the third year in a row, Lactalis USA employees in Buffalo partnered with FeedMore WNY at the Erie County Fair to help collect food donations for neighbors facing food insecurity across Western New York. This year, 27 employee volunteers welcomed fairgoers and collected donations at three entrance gates, helping FeedMore achieve a record-breaking 160,905 pounds of food collected in a single day. Tuesday morning I had the pleasure of spending some time with my friends from Daytime Chicago WGN-TV Amy and Tonya we yapped all things Snack2School; simple, approachable ways to build meals and snacks with Kraft Natural Cheese. We covered everything from String to Protein Stick to Big Slice to Lactose Free. If the show wasn’t exciting enough being the only live segment to make it on air before the wild Chicago summer weather hit. Huge thank you to the production team who always makes me feel at home (along with Amy and Tonya!) Nick, Mike, Clare, Dennis, Dara.
