In Oklahoma, International Paper’s proprietary ForSite® mapping system identified a sourcing location as potential habitat for Blair’s Fencing Crawfish, a species of conservation interest native to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. That early insight helped our Fiber Supply team and the managing forester adjust the harvest plan to limit disturbance to sensitive aquatic habitat and support water quality.
