Elevating the Standard of Household Employment.

About us

Hello Nanny!® is a nationwide household employment infrastructure company modernizing how working families legally hire, compensate, and manage in‑home caregivers. Childcare is workforce infrastructure — yet many existing placement and benefit-forwarding models rely on layered intermediaries that compress wages, diffuse accountability, and create compliance risk. At the same time, families employing nannies directly as W‑2 household employees are often left to navigate labor law, payroll, and HR responsibilities without institutional support. We built a better model. Hello Nanny!® operates as a corporate-level, direct‑to‑consumer hiring platform that enables families to employ caregivers legally, transparently, and sustainably without intermediary wage compression. Our integrated infrastructure includes: • A nationwide network of pre‑vetted caregivers • Corporate-grade Applicant Tracking System (ATS) • Structured sourcing, screening, and background check services • Interview strategy and working interview (trial) coordination • Professional reference verification and vetting documentation • Clearly defined work agreements aligned with household employment standards • Offer structuring and onboarding support • Payroll onboarding and W‑2 household employment guidance • Access to a nationwide employment law firm to mitigate legal risk • Access to HR support and resources

  • We are thrilled to partner with National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Purdue Global on this partnership to give nannies the educational development they deserve and parents the pathway to invest in their nannies professional development.

For years, nannies have been told the same thing: "You're so good with kids — have you thought about becoming a teacher?" As if the work they're already doing isn't the profession. That question is the whole problem. We've built a childcare system where experience doesn't count unless it comes with a different job title. Where a caregiver with a decade of hands-on expertise has no credentialed path forward inside the work they have already mastered, only a path out of it. That's the gap Hello Nanny!® is closing. I'm proud to share that we've partnered with Purdue Global and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to build an accredited career pathway designed specifically for working nannies, caregivers who already have the experience, but never had the credential to prove it. This isn't a pivot into a new field. It's recognition for the field they're already in. Because caregiving is workforce infrastructure, and it's time the education system treated it that way. • The hardest part of returning to work after kids isn't the work. It's the trust. We talk a lot about the logistics of childcare… the cost, the schedules, the waitlists. But the thing that actually keeps parents up at night is quieter and harder to solve: → Who is really with my child all day? → Will they be patient at 4pm when everyone's tired? → Do "great references" actually mean anything? That uncertainty is its own kind of weight. A parent can't show up fully at work while half their mind is still at home, wondering. 💭 This is the part of childcare that doesn't get enough attention - and it's exactly where the work matters most.  Because the goal was never just "coverage." It's the kind of trust that lets a parent return to work as their whole self - present, focused, and not checking the monitor every five minutes 💙 For the working parents here: what helped you finally trust the person caring for your kids? #WorkingParents #Childcare #ReturnToWork #WorkingMom #HelloNanny

  • Worth the money isn’t a feeling. It’s a structure. 5 things a families hiring a nanny should build in not because they’re generous, but because they’re what turns a job into a profession. Families get clarity, compliance, and consistency. Nannies get paid what the law requires, protected from scope creep, and treated like the skilled professionals they are. This is the difference between hiring help and building a home your nanny never wants to leave. Childcare isn’t a favor. It isn’t a side gig. It’s workforce infrastructure and it’s time the industry treated it that way. To every family who gets it, and every nanny who deserves it this one’s for both of you. 💙🏡

  • We don't say this enough: needing help has never meant you're falling short as a parent. Somewhere along the way, "good parent" got tangled up with "does it all alone." The meals. The pickups. The bedtime. The endless mental load - all carried solo, without complaint. But that isn't strength. It's exhaustion with better branding. The parents whose kids genuinely thrive are the ones who let people in. Partners. Grandparents. Friends. Caregivers who become family. A child loved by many isn't a child missing their parent - it's a child who's surrounded. So today we're recognizing every kind of parent - working and stay-at-home, single and co-parenting, the grandparents stepping in, the caregivers who feel like family. However you're building yours, you're likely doing better than you think. Happy Parents' Day! 💙 Which part of your village are you most grateful for today? #WorkingParents #Parenting #WorkLifeBalance #Caregiving #HelloNanny

  • Your child loving their nanny isn't something to feel guilty about. It's the whole point. So many working parents carry a quiet version of this fear… that if their child bonds closely with a caregiver, they're somehow being replaced. They aren't. Children don't ration love. A child who feels safe and adored in their caregiver's care isn't loving their parent less.  They're showing that the village is working—and that secure bond is exactly what frees a parent to do their job, get real rest, and come back present. The outcome worth worrying about is the opposite: a child who doesn't feel safe with the person caring for them. A child thriving inside the support system you built is the goal. Not the guilt. This is something we talk about constantly with the families we work with—that hiring help isn't a failure of capability.  It's how parents stay whole.  Because a trusted caregiver doesn't replace a parent's role.. it protects it. Build your village wisely. Then let yourself benefit from it. 🎙️ Inspired by Dylan Dreyer's conversation with Nanny Connie on her podcast, The Parent Chat—a reframe every working parent deserves to hear. For the parents here: did you ever carry this guilt? And what helped you put it down? #WorkingParents #Childcare #MentalLoad #ParentingAtWork #HelloNanny

  • Hiring in-home support shouldn't be harder than the reason you need it. But for most families, it is. → Sourcing candidates → Screening them → Background checks → Drafting a work agreement And somewhere in there, realizing you've quietly become a household employer with real legal obligations… usually without anyone telling you. It's a lot. And most families are navigating it for the first time, on their own, while already stretched thin. That's the part we take off the table. We handle the search, the vetting, and the paperwork—so the only decision left to you is the one that actually matters: choosing the right person for your family 🙌 Hiring support, made easy. • The The Wall Street Journal just profiled families hiring entire teams of specialists one person for potty training, another for camp packing, another for teaching a kid to ride a bike under the headline “one nanny isn’t cutting it anymore.” It’s an interesting piece, but it also feeds a misconception we run into constantly: that hiring a nanny is something only the ultra-wealthy do. It’s not. The families we work with every day are dual-working households, physicians, lawyers, entrepreneurs, people whose jobs simply don’t pause for a sick day, a school closure, or a 6am shift. They’re not building a team of specialists. They’re trying to keep their household functioning with one dependable person they trust. That’s the actual story that gets missed when “nanny” only shows up in headlines about CEO parenting: for most families, hiring care isn’t a luxury flex. It’s the infrastructure that lets two working parents actually go to work.

One nanny isn’t cutting it anymore. Wealthy working parents are employing teams of people to handle the work of raising their children, including specialists to potty-train their toddlers, teach their kids to ride a bike, manage school applications and pack their trunks for summer camp. Call it CEO parenting: treating the modern family as a small enterprise and delegating low-joy tasks. Read more: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g6CJhm2H

  • There's a kind of concern no performance review is built to capture. Your nanny is reliable. The kids are safe and well cared for. On paper, nothing is wrong. And yet something keeps tugging at you 💭 Most people second-guess that feeling. They tell themselves they're being too picky, or reading into a single bad moment. But in caregiving, that instinct is worth taking seriously.  ➡️ Because *how* the work gets done matters as much as whether it gets done. In a home, trust and judgment aren't soft extras—they're the core of the job. The hard part is naming it.  There's a real difference between a personality difference you can live with and a pattern that's quietly eroding your confidence… and most families struggle to tell which is which. We worked with HR strategist Angela Tait, founder of Tait Consulting, to map exactly that: how to distinguish preference from misalignment, when a concern is worth raising, and how to address it with the same professionalism you'd bring to any other employment relationship. Because household employment is still employment. And the families who navigate these moments best are the ones who treat them that way. For those who employ in-home care: how do you tell the difference between a style clash and a real misalignment? #HouseholdEmployer #WorkingParents #Childcare #Leadership #HelloNanny
