Today we're launching PMOS Screening at SheMed! PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome), the condition formerly known as PCOS, affects an estimated 3 to 4 million women in the UK. Yet it remains one of the most underdiagnosed and inconsistently managed conditions in women's health. Too many women spend years being told their symptoms are normal, or are sent away without answers at all. Our new PMOS screening is built to close that gap. Every result is reviewed by our clinical team, so women get a clear picture of what's happening in their body. To everyone at SheMed – our clinicians, engineers, marketing, operations and support teams – thank you. You built something that will change how women understand their own health, and you did it with real care at every step. Our mission has never changed: to make healthcare for women accessible, evidence-based, and genuinely designed around them. PMOS screening is the next step. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gwA9Fua8

Women’s health isn’t a niche issue. It’s a healthcare, workplace, and economic issue. We’re proud to announce a new strategic partnership with eMed focused on bringing together healthcare leaders, employers, and advocates to tackle some of the biggest gaps in women’s health, from access and affordability to preventive care and more connected healthcare experiences. We’ll kick things off at the FQ Health Summit in NYC on October 14 and continue the conversation at key FQ events throughout the year, with a focus on turning ideas into action and making better care easier for women to access.

“The convergence of AI and GLP-1s.” — Eric Larsen, President of TowerBrook Advisors. AI is becoming part of how healthcare is delivered, and metabolic medicine is one area where its potential is especially interesting. At the eMed Health Innovation Revolution Summit, Eric shared his perspective on how AI and metabolic medicine are coming together to support more personalized care. AI and GLP-1s are coming together to address population healthcare needs. #AIinHealthcare #MetabolicHealth #PopulationHealth #HealthTech

The GLP-1 conversation continues to change. And employers need to change with it. Millions of people are seeking these medications because they believe they can meaningfully improve their health. The answer isn’t blanket access. And it isn’t blanket restriction. It’s real clinical care. GLP-1s should be prescribed appropriately, monitored by clinicians, and supported throughout the patient journey. When they are, employers have an opportunity to move beyond simply paying for a prescription and start thinking about what actually drives better health outcomes and ultimately…better economics. We also need to move past the idea that GLP-1s are simply “vanity drugs.” For patients with obesity, diabetes, and other clinically appropriate indications, these medications can be an important part of managing chronic disease. Research continues to explore their potential impact across a much broader range of health conditions. There’s another reality employers can’t ignore: Demand is huge. Employees are already asking for this care. The question is whether companies will respond with a pharmacy benefit alone, or with a clinically managed solution designed around the person, not just the prescription. At eMed, we built our program around exactly that idea: access to GLP-1s should come with real medical care, ongoing support, and a focus on long-term outcomes. Healthcare is changing. Employee expectations are changing. Employees: ask your company to bring eMed to your benefits. Employers: let’s talk about what clinically managed GLP-1 care could mean for your workforce. #GLP1 #EmployeeHealth #HealthBenefits #Healthcare #WeightManagement https://lnkd.in/e9hrfV_b

“We have an obligation to make sure we innovate healthcare once and for all. The consumer has already spoken.” — Linda Yaccarino, eMed CEO Healthcare is moving toward a more consumer-driven model. Employers have an opportunity to make sure their benefits strategy keeps pace. Linda’s take: that’s exactly why it deserves a seat at the table. The programs that support a healthier workforce may not always make the loudest case quarter to quarter. They still deserve to be part of the conversation. #PopulationHealth #WorkforceHealth #EmployerHealth
