The future of energy is bright, and I saw that firsthand this week. Yesterday, I connected with students during a fireside chat at Dominion Energy’s Careers in Energy Student Conference. They brought good questions, strong energy, and a real interest in where this industry is headed. We welcomed students from across the country who are thinking about energy, their careers, and the difference they can make. That kind of curiosity matters. It is where growth starts, and it is where innovation starts. What stood out to me was how engaged they were. They leaned in. They listened. They asked thoughtful questions. They were already thinking about how to be part of something bigger than themselves. One thing I shared with them is something I believe in: “Show Up. Speak Up. Step Up. Stand Up.” That is leadership to me. It is also how teams get better and how organizations transform. You bring people together. You listen. You challenge the way things have always been done. You make room for ideas to come from anywhere. That is how we try to work across our business. Across teams and functions, we collaborate, we innovate, and we stay focused on our customers and communities. I told them to aim high. Shoot for the moon. Even if you land among the stars, you have already moved forward. You have learned something. You have helped move others forward, too. Based on the students I met yesterday, there is a lot to be excited about! #CareersInEnergy #DominionEnergy #FutureLeaders
