About us

Over eighty-five years ago, our credit union was founded by 15 courageous educators who pooled together all of the money they had – just $78.75. With help from our members, our community and our team, we have grown from those humble beginnings to become Arizona’s largest locally-based credit union. We are dedicated to strengthening our local economy and workforce while providing financial solutions for more than 450,000 members. Equal Housing Opportunity | Federally insured by the NCUA

  • We were proud to spend part of Phoenix Children's Give-A-Thon Week supporting the team behind the scenes. Our volunteers helped keep things running throughout the event by answering calls, processing donations and thanking every single person who called to support Phoenix Children's. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and to every community member who gave this week. Your generosity helps support the care, programs and resources that make a difference for children and families across Arizona.

I’m incredibly honored to share that Desert Financial Wills & Trust has been nominated for NAHREP Greater Phoenix’s 2026 Affiliate of the Year Award 🥳 This recognition is especially meaningful because of the relationship and partnership our department has worked to build with NAHREP Greater Phoenix. I’ve had the privilege of intentionally cultivating this relationship and representing Wills & Trusts through numerous events, educational opportunities, community initiatives, and collaborations. I’ve truly enjoyed finding ways for our department to show up, add value, and support an organization whose mission aligns so closely with our commitment to serving our Hispanic community. And while I’ve had the privilege of being the person out front building and nurturing many of these relationships, this nomination is a reflection of our entire Wills & Trusts team and the incredible support behind the work we do. To be recognized alongside several outstanding Arizona organizations is an honor, and I’m deeply grateful to NAHREP Greater Phoenix for recognizing our efforts. I would truly appreciate your support. 🗳️ Voting ends August 7th. Link will be in the comments. Thank you to everyone who has supported this partnership, opened doors, made introductions, attended events, collaborated with us, and helped us continue to show up for our community. I’m incredibly proud of how this partnership has grown. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent Desert Financial Wills & Trusts and proud of what we’re building together. Thank you for your support!

  • Our team rolled up their sleeves at SARRC's Mesa campus to prep classroom materials for teachers. We spent the day cutting, laminating and organizing classroom materials so the teachers can focus on what matters most: supporting their students. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, and to SARRC for the opportunity to make a difference. We're grateful to support the important work happening in our community! • As parents to twin babies, Sydney and David knew one of the most important decisions they needed to make was establishing guardianship for their children. While no parent wants to imagine the unexpected, having a will or trust in place ensures your wishes are documented and the people you trust most are chosen to care for your children if something happens. Through Desert Financial Wills & Trusts, they were able to create a plan that protects their family and provides peace of mind for the future. Don't wait to put your plan in place.
