Our North America store leaders recently came together for our Annual Store Leadership Conference, an opportunity to connect, align on priorities, and prepare for the holiday season. Throughout the week, leaders gained insight into our strategic direction, shared best practices, strengthened cross-functional partnerships, and collaborated on ways to elevate the employee and customer experience across our stores in North America. Most importantly, the conference reinforced the power of bringing talented leaders together to learn from one another, build connections, and return to their teams energized for the season ahead. Thank you to everyone who helped make the week a success. We're excited to see these ideas and insights come to life across our stores and help shape the bright future ahead for Columbia Retail.

About us
Based in Portland, Oregon, Columbia Sportswear Company (NASDAQ: COLM) is a global outdoor brand that crafts active lifestyle gear fortified with industry-leading technologies and tested in our backyard. Our apparel, footwear, and accessories reflect our Pacific Northwest heritage and indomitable spirit. Over the last 80 years, Columbia and our family of brands, Sorel, prAna, and Mountain Hardwear, have grown to over 10,000 employees and proudly sell products in over 100 countries. At Columbia, we're as passionate about the outdoors as you are. And while our gear is available around the world, we're proud to be based in the Pacific Northwest where the lush forests, snow-covered mountains, rugged coastline, and wide-open spaces serve as our playground. This is where we hike, fish, hunt, camp, climb, shred, paddle, golf, run, and just enjoy the fresh air with friends. We hope to see you out there. Columbia was proud to join SneakerWeek for the first time as a sponsor and exhibitor, connecting with the city's passionate sneaker community in a meaningful way. Throughout the weekend, we shared some of our latest footwear and apparel innovations while engaging directly with attendees who appreciate both style and performance. To cap off Sunday's Culture Day, we partnered with Deadstock Coffee and Sneaker Gallery and Camp Yoshi to host a hike to Wahclella Falls in the Columbia River Gorge, where participants had the opportunity to experience our Tellurix™ OutDry™ footwear on the trail. Events like Portland Sneaker Week create unique opportunities to bring together sneaker culture and the outdoors, helping introduce new audiences to the experiences and places that inspire our products. Whether someone's journey starts with sneakers, hiking, or simply exploring somewhere new, we're excited to help more people discover their next adventure.

There’s no better product test than getting out and using it ourselves. Last month, Columbia employees took on two of Oregon’s most iconic relay races, covering hundreds of miles across mountain roads, coastal highways, and everything in between. Along the way, they also had the opportunity to put the Columbia Konos™ Speed Trail ATR and Stealth apparel line through a real-world test. From runners tackling the 196-mile Hood to Coast relay to walkers covering 132 miles in Portland to Coast, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Across changing terrain, long hours, and unpredictable conditions, our gear delivered when it mattered most. Congratulations to everyone who participated and represented Columbia with determination, teamwork, and plenty of miles underfoot.

After an outstanding season on the trails, Columbia athlete Gabriel Rueda continues to prove what's possible when talent, dedication and trusted gear come together. This year, Gabriel secured a victory at UTMB Val d’Aran and followed it with an outstanding 20th place finish at the prestigious UTMB in Chamonix. Competing against the world’s best trail runners, he completed the grueling 174 kilometer course around Mount Blanc, conquering more than 10,000 meters of elevation gain. Throughout the season, Gabriel, outfitted in our Stealth collection, put the new Columbia Konos™ Speed Trail ATR to the test across demanding terrain, helping showcase the versatility, comfort and performance needed for everything from daily training miles to world-class competition. Reflecting on the season, Gabriel shared: "Honestly, I'm just grateful. It's been an amazing season, with a few highs I never expected. Having Columbia's support throughout the years has made a huge difference, and being able to represent the brand out on the trails is something I'm really proud of." At Columbia, we take pride in working with our athletes who rely on our product the most. Partnerships like the one we've built with Gabriel over the years help shape the way we innovate, test and push performance forward.

Check out the latest from our Ho Chi Minh City office! Recently, employees from our Ho Chi Minh City location came together for our Volunteer Event: Together for Nature, spending the day giving back to the community through tree planting and community cleanup efforts in Phuoc Buu, Vung Tau. Through teamwork and a shared commitment to making a difference, our employee volunteers dedicated their time and energy to supporting local conservation efforts while building stronger connections with one another outside of the workplace. This event reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of our Employee 5K at our Portland, Oregon headquarters. What started as an idea from a group of employees and grew through a partnership with our wellness team has become a summer tradition that brings colleagues together year after year. Employees lace up to walk or run the 5K, then celebrate their accomplishment with a Partio (party on the patio) alongside coworkers. Here's to 10 years of wellness, community, and fun.
