When a tokenized share exists across multiple blockchains, there is no single registry to determine who receives dividends and no standardized way to pay every holder across networks. For the 2026 Swift Hackathon Business Challenge, Chainlink built a solution that automatically enables payment of a cash dividend to holders across multiple blockchains. The Chainlink-powered solution runs from the initial corporate action announcement through payment and final reconciliation, with no manual intervention: • CRE orchestrates the full workflow and creates a single ownership record across every blockchain. • CCIP enables the delivery of stablecoins or tokenized deposits to holders across chains. • ACE checks each wallet against the required identity, sanctions, tax, and eligibility rules. • Price Feeds provide the data needed to adjust the reference price when shares go ex-dividend. The solution also proposes extensions to existing ISO 20022 messages to specify the exact entitlement snapshot, beneficiary wallet, target blockchain, settlement token, and onchain transaction reference. This provides a model for servicing tokenized assets across multiple blockchains while preserving the roles, messaging standards, and infrastructure institutions already use. Thank you to Swift for organizing this year’s Business Challenge and naming Chainlink’s solution the runner-up. We look forward to continuing to build on our joint work with the Swift community.
