Earlier this year we launched Atom's MCP server so AI agents could search, appraise, and check domains on Atom. One step was still missing: paying for one. Today that's closed. Atom.com published a case study today on the decision behind CultureAI.com.   Here's the part that didn't make it in. That decision wasn't made at a desk and it wasn't made fast. For months leading into it, Monica Cutia, BSN, RN, PHN, COS-C and I worked through everything on our walks, the same walks where we were running a rocket company's method on our own healthcare companies. Question every requirement. Delete. Delete again. Culture was what survived every pass of the knife.   So we set out to turn that culture into a system, and then into software to run our post-acute companies. The intent was never to build software to sell or license. It was always internal: use it ourselves, so we could scale even more without losing our culture.   When the exact-match .com came up for sale a year ago, the name already said the strategy in two words. Adding a word or settling for a cheaper extension would have meant the name no longer stated the thesis. We decided the thesis was worth paying for.   Fast forward from that purchase to this year. HealthView went from number 2,495 to number 97 on the Inc 5000, the fastest-growing home health and hospice company in the country, and number 16 on Fortune's Best Small Workplaces, with team satisfaction at 98 percent measured by Great Place to Work. The scaling without losing the culture part is holding so far.   Paying real money for a domain sounds crazy to most operators. It's been the best brand decision I've made. The name does the explaining before I say a word. Every field note, every post, every article points back to one address that says what we believe: culture first, AI second. It's also the home of The Culture Lab, which runs across multiple publications and has close to 4 million impressions on LinkedIn.   What I like most about the case study is that it's the sale described from the seller's side of the counter.
