Palantir Technologies has named Armada its Inaugural Certified Modular Data Center Partner. Sovereign AI means control over the whole stack: not just the models, but the data, and the hardware they run on. Until now, getting there has meant years of new construction or renting capacity that’s actually outside your control. Together with Palantir, we're delivering a single integrated stack for customers end to end: - Palantir's Sovereign AI Operating System (AIP, Ontology, Foundry, Apollo)  - Armada’s Galleons: modular data centers manufactured by Johnson Controls in the United States and allied nations - The Armada Platform: fine-tune and serve open-weight models with no reliance on any external cloud, fully air-gapped when the mission requires it  - The Sovereign AI Grid: connecting deployments into a distributed system, so critical workloads never depend on a single site Read the full announcement: https://lnkd.in/gJuvyDr7

We just wrapped Armada's Sovereign AI Summit at the Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, D.C., and here's what we took away:  - We won't fight future wars alone. For warfighting, the tools have to enable us to work with our allies, and that starts at the model level.  - Energy dominance is everything. China is outbuilding us in this area. We need to fix that, and the goal is to fuel America's AI buildout and support our allies.  - Centralized infrastructure is increasingly a target. Large-scale data centers are in our adversaries' sights. The future includes burying more of our infrastructure underground.  - Federal demand is real. The government is modernizing and closing the historical gap with the commercial sector.  - We must bring communities along. Informing them before deployment matters, and modular infrastructure gives people genuine reassurance.  The bottom line: we don't have to pick between speed and good judgment. Let's go faster and smarter.  Thank you to Sinan Kanatsiz and everyone who made the summit happen.

Today at Armada's Sovereign AI Summit in Washington D.C., we announced a new partnership with Traysar Industries to bring sovereign AI infrastructure underground. Traysar's new platform Terminus positions and protects critical infrastructure beneath the Earth's surface. Together we're working to bring our Galleons beneath the locations where traditional data centers are vulnerable, disconnected or impossible to protect. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening America's industrial base, and ensuring that the United States and its allies can deploy trusted AI infrastructure wherever it's needed. https://lnkd.in/g9VkXP6V

Recently I sat down with the CEO of Fossefall, Øyvind Laugen Vesterdal, to tackle the state of compute demand and how America and its allies will power the boom in AI infrastructure build-out.   That's one of the biggest questions that comes up during the current AI race. Based in Norway, Fossefall is particularly well placed to answer it, as the company pursues its journey to turn clean energy into Europe's AI backbone.  The solution includes teaming up with local communities and making it simple for financial backers to understand, as Øyvind says. With so much of Europe’s hydro capacity found in Norway, we're looking forward to delivering more sovereign AI together with Fossefall, starting with five Leviathan modular data centers.  https://lnkd.in/gcsQXAW9

It’s Day 2 at Pareto Securities' Annual Energy Conference in Norway and Wednesday’s conversations are setting the tone, from sovereign AI to distributed compute, grid and local infrastructure resilience to the fastest path to upstream value. The common thread: everyone is pulling more data from connected assets than ever, and centralized compute can't keep up. That's the exact gap Armada's Galleon closes. Our 20-foot Cruiser model is built to bridge lightweight field compute and data center-class infrastructure, delivering real-time, distributed intelligence where the cloud can't reach, in extreme environments. Yesterday, our Co-founder and CEO Dan Wright shared how Armada helps customers control their own destiny with sovereign AI, deploying Galleons with the Armada platform. Today, we welcome more visitors inside the same model that will land on an oil rig on the Norwegian Continental Shelf next year with Aker BP ASA. More powerful than any slide deck, this is sovereign AI solving the toughest challenges.

Companies and governments are retrieving more and more data from connected assets. The pressure is intense to move from centralized compute to distributed intelligence. But processing all of that data in real time requires a resilient solution. That's where Armada's Galleon comes in. Our 20 foot model is called Cruiser and it's built to close the gap between lightweight field compute and data center-class infrastructure. It delivers where the cloud can't reach, and in the most extreme environments. Today our Co-founder and CEO Dan Wright shared how we enable customers to control their destiny with sovereign AI, by deploying our Galleons with the Armada platform. Marius Lorentzen of Finansavisen honed in on the story at Pareto Securities Energy Conference. This clip is viewable on desktop: https://lnkd.in/gbYzM6qV

Here in Norway, Aker BP ASA has identified that the future of drilling performance requires processing and acting on more data today, on the rig where it's generated. Conditions on the Norwegian Continental Shelf can be unforgiving. On top of that, the oil industry has never faced greater pressure to demonstrate predictable performance and capital productivity. Today our Sovereign AI Tour arrived at Pareto Securities Energy Conference in Oslo. Together with Aker BP and other partners, we demonstrated how we are setting the new standard for rig management, moving steadily toward autonomous operations. A big thank you to my co-presenter Tommy Sigmundstad, Jan Petter Stiff, the teams at Aker BP and Armada, plus everyone stopping by our Galleon to learn first-hand what we're building. With Armada, oil companies can operate anywhere, run AI where the work happens, respond in real time, and control their own data. This is sovereign AI.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders, service members, and countless others who answered in the days and years that followed.   Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and service remain with us.   We will never forget.
