This year’s Associate Event was a hit! With more associates working remotely, AAA Life’s September event focused on bringing teams together for a unique activity. Through our “Building for the Future” theme, associates were encouraged to reflect on all they’ve accomplished this year and to build momentum for 2027. Over 350 attendees then broke off into teams to build furniture to donate to Vets Returning Home, completing around 20 sets of dining room tables and chairs and six kitchen carts. Vets Returning Home is a nonprofit and non-government funded organization dedicated to ending chronic homelessness among veterans in our communities by aiding their transitions into stable lives. Thanks to all who helped in planning and executing a successful event and to each of our associates for demonstrating teamwork and camaraderie while enjoying an afternoon of celebration and service!

Today, AAA Life associates joined volunteers across the country in observing the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Our team helped pack boxes of supplies for food-insecure families in the Detroit area, supporting an effort to provide 18 million meals to Americans in need. As we serve others today, we also remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor those who responded in the face of tragedy, and pay tribute through service that strengthens our communities.

Our intern class is one to remember! AAA Life is wishing the best of luck to each of the 17 interns who recently completed a three-month summer position with the company. In addition to learning more about their respective fields, our interns participated in community events, presented their learnings to executives and associates across the company and had made important connections for their futures. Another successful Hackathon is in the books! Nearly 150 AAA Life associates participated in the 2026 Hackathon, which challenged teams to leverage AI tools to solve for business challenges. Entries were judged in three categories: Creativity, Impact and Speed to Delivery. We’re proud to celebrate three award-winning entries and congratulate all who embraced the challenge and expanded their skills in service of enhancing the policyholder experience across every stage of the customer journey. AAA Life is committed to helping families find financial protection and would like to recognize two associates who were recently honored as top internal agents at our annual Diamond Club celebration. Congratulations to Shauna Flach and Deborah Schiffman for being recognized this year for outstanding production results and strong customer satisfaction scores, helping AAA Life serve nearly 32,000 families in 2025. “We are grateful for the dedication and service agents like Shauna and Deborah provide every day,” said Robyn Schroeder, AAA Life’s Vice President of Direct-to-Customer Sales. “Along with the rest of our talented team, they help our members make informed life insurance decisions, find the right coverage and gain peace of mind knowing their loved ones are protected. It was a record-breaking year on the course! AAA Life would like to recognize the participants, sponsors, committee members and volunteers who made the 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic our most successful fundraiser yet in support of the United Way for Southeastern Michigan. Held last month at Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center in Plymouth, Michigan, this year’s event featured: ⛳ 32 volunteers ⛳ 187 golfers ⛳ $32,000 raised for the United Way Supporting charitable causes across Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties, the United Way offers resources to help members of the community locate health and human services and provides a food assistance program to aid children across the region. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a meaningful difference in the community!
