The youngest among Condé Nast Italia’s magazine is about to turn 10: Wired Italia was born in early 2009 as the first non-English-language edition of the brand founded in 1993 in dot-com-fever San Francisco. Federico Ferrazza has been the Editor-in-Chief of Wired Italia since June 2015. From 2013 to 2015 he was the brand's Deputy Editor. At the same time, from 2015 to 2018, he was the Digital Editor of GQ Italia.From the Wired Next Fest beginning in June 2013 he has been its curator and from 2016 the director of the Festival.During the years, in addition to Milan, Ferrazza rolled out the Florence’s editions. From 2016 he has started the annual Business conferences: Wired Health, Wired Trends and Wired Legal.Previously he founded the media company Galileo Servizi Editoriali, a company that deals with the production and development of scientific and consulting content strategic in the field of communication.Ferrazza wrote about Science and Technology for several newspapers and magazines, including La Repubblica, Il Sole-24 Ore and L'Espresso.He taught New Media and Online Journalism at La Sapienza University e Tor Vergata University in Rome.Ferrazza was among the authors of the television programs Greed and 100%, two quizzes respectively broadcasted on Italian Tv channels, Rai 2 and La7, and produced by Pearson Television and Magnolia.

Michiaki Matsushima is Head of Editorial Content for WIRED Japan, overseeing all verticals and editorial projects for WIRED Japan. Before joining WIRED in 2018, he was Editor-in-Chief of the editorial department of NHK Publishing. Matsushima was born in Tokyo and lives in Kamakura.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Greg Williams

Greg Williams is the Editor-in-Chief of WIRED UK and Deputy Global Editorial Director of WIRED. A content creator, speaker and strategic forecaster who has held senior leadership roles in London and New York, Williams is interested in what's coming next and understanding the ideas, organisations, trends and technologies that will shape the future. He has interviewed many senior leaders in business, technology and policy, including Bill Gates, Satya Nadella, Demis Hassabis and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.Williams has written for numerous titles, including The Guardian, Newsweek and The Observer and was awarded British Society of Magazine Editors 'Editor of the Year, Science &amp; Technology' in 2017, 2018 and 2020. His longform story on the UK's biggest ever cocaine heist was highly commended by the British Society of Magazine Editors. Williams was a judge of the Royal Society Science Book of the Year award 2018 and is the author of six novels.

Katie Drummond

Katie Drummond&nbsp;is the global editorial director for&nbsp;WIRED. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the vision and content across all platforms for the brand globally, in addition to leading editorial teams in Italy, Japan, Mexico, the U.K and U.S. Drummond joins WIRED from VICE Media Group, where she oversaw all digital publishing and content as senior vice president of global news &amp; entertainment.Drummond’s extensive background in online media spans hard news, technology and lifestyle coverage. At VICE, she led the global expansion of VICE News across Latin America, Europe, and Asia, and oversaw all VICE digital brands including Noisey, Munchies, Rec Room, Motherboard, and Waypoint. She also spearheaded successful off-platform audience development, including the growth of original video reporting and the launch of VICE on Twitch. She also led efforts to create opportunities for these brands across, VICE TV and VICE Studios. During her tenure at VMG, VICE’s digital teams were honored with dozens of major journalism prizes, including an Online Journalism Award for innovative work on TikTok and a Peabody award for the series “Transnational.”Prior to VICE, Drummond was deputy editor at Medium, where she oversaw editorial content across politics, wellness, science and technology, and ran the audience development team for Medium’s subscription program. Drummond began her career as a reporter, writing for outlets including The New Republic, New York Magazine, Popular Science, Marie Claire and WIRED, where she covered military research and medicine for WIRED’s Danger Room blog. She then moved on to a managing editor role at The Verge, where she launched their science section, the outlet’s first expansion beyond consumer tech. After that, Drummond served as deputy editor for Bloomberg and helped relaunch Bloomberg.com as a modern, digital destination for global business news. She then went on to executive editor appointments at The Outline and Gizmodo Media Group, where she served as editor in chief of Gizmodo.&nbsp;Drummond graduated from Queen’s University in Canada with a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy before moving to New York in 2008.&nbsp;

Urbano Hidalgo

Graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in Geography and Modern History, with a Master’s Degree in European studies; Urbano has 21 years of working experience, which 15 of them, he has dedicated to editorial job. He was also an Account Director in a renowned communications agency.He worked as Vanity Fair Editor in Conde Nast Spain, during this time he was in charge of the editorial staff of Vanity Fair Mexico, among other things.In June 2017, he took the job as Mexico Vanity Fair Subdirector based in Mexico City. In 2018, he became editor-in-chief of GQ Mexico and Latin America contributing with all of his journalistic knowledge and experience in the most important men's title in the world.
