    New "controversy" about Apple occasionally pushing a "Try the New Safari" notification on Mac when you open a competing browser. Apple shouldn’t be doing that, but it’s nothing new…they’ve been doing it for many years.

    This is very intriguing…glad I’ve been holding onto my 2016 15" hoping for a big update. Curious how MagSafe charging is implemented given USB-C connectivity. Are we back to separate cables? Magnetic USB-C is risky for data connections.

    This is likely a good way to find yourself no longer in discussions in Apple.

    In a statement just obtained by 's , the auto giant Hyundai says: “We understand that Apple is in discussion with a variety of global automakers, including Hyundai Motor. As the discussion is at its early stage, nothing has been decided.”

    Epic Games apparently isn’t too worried about its future…building a new global HQ down the street from me. Disappointing, as the property is currently a dead mall that was going to be a nice mixed-use development. Now it’s going to be a corporate campus.

    I’m confused. Arlo’s stock is up 30%, reportedly because Apple is carrying one of its security cameras. But it looks like the camera bundle has been on Apple’s site for quite some time.

    Somebody mistakenly added my phone number to their Apple online store account and now I’m getting their order status texts…8 texts for 4 different orders over the past week. Apple says there’s nothing they can do to help me.

    The switch back to flat edges combined with thinner bezels really makes this new iPhone feel closer to Apple’s ideal of the device just being a sheet of glass.

    Weird date/time issue dating back months with my wife’s MacBook. Even with auto time set and correct location, the time is off by a few minutes. Currently a minute and 40 seconds behind. Have tried manually setting, but then it still gradually drifts off. 🤷‍♂️

    FWIW, I successfully completed a band exchange in-store today, but it wasn’t pretty. Took an hour, involved 4 specialists, and they had me "return" my whole watch (had to unpair it from my phone), refund it onto a gift card, and then immediately repurchase with the new band.

    Apple Watch received, and as feared, braided loop is a bit too big. Don’t love the band design either. Hard to get on and off the wrist, and looks a little janky where the yarn meets the watch casing. Do love the blue watch though.
