Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.

More people need to know about this beautiful community, and what it stands for, everyone I speak to about 'Linux' still has the belief that it's only for Genius' and that none of it is user friendly ...for the 'average joe' but this community has progressively made leaps and bounds, improving all of the time, making user friendly distrobutions of Linux that even children (not tech savy) can interact with, play and learn. Now with Steam, and later hopefully others, we can show even the most 'serious gamers' that Linux can be for them too. 展开
