Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.

The only large colourful butterflies that can be seen in any numbers now are red admirals, which are resplendent in scarlet, black and white. These are the “children” of the red admirals that came over here from France and laid their eggs in late summer. They can be seen at present on buddleia, Michaelmas daisies and ivy flowers. The other fine butterflies that are usually found with them, such as small tortoiseshells and peacocks, are very scarce this autumn. They had a bad time in spring, with spells of heavy rain making it difficult for them to meet and mate with each other. So there are fewer offspring this year. One heathland butterfly that has done much better is the small copper, which has shining metallic wings, orange-coloured with black markings. There are crowds of them flying over the heather, with the males vigorously fighting each other for mates.
