Transfer your .eu domain name

.eu domain names can be transferred to a new registrar regardless of whether or not the holder of the domain name changes. Transfers require a transfer authorisation code.

To transfer your domain name to a new registrar:

1. Request an authorisation code from your current registrar. To verify your registrar, look up your domain name in the WHOIS database. Your registrar’s name will be listed in the “Registrar” section of the query result.
2. Send the authorisation code you receive to your new registrar.

Your new registrar will process the transfer of your domain name.

To transfer your domain name to a new registrar and to a new holder:

1. Request an authorisation code from your current registrar. To verify your registrar, look up your domain name in the WHOIS database. Your registrar’s name will be listed in the “Registrar” section of the query result.
2. Once you receive this code, send it to the future holder of the domain name, who in turn must send it to their registrar.

Their registrar will process the transfer of the domain name.
