We need to improve it to make it more clear, how the nss switch is for, configured, used and tested
We must validate and test the NAT functionality and interaction with transport service. <br />
<br />
It is reported that configuring a peer behind nat and nat punching does not work correctly. <br />
<br />
Testing the tranport configuration fails (which executes a NAT test) and error messages occur when a peer is running...

gnunet builds without any datastore but tries to load sqlite by default<br />
<br />
-> error message:<br />
unable to load sqlite plugin<br />
a lot of timeouts of database requests<br />

not easy to understand for users
when no database (sqlite/mysql/postgresql) is found in configure, gnunet still builds and tries to load sqlite plugin on start...<br />
<br />
When gnunet is start, error about sqlite plugin failed to load and a lot of "database lookup took more than 1 min" error messages

Peer A has only an IPv4 TCP address<br />
Peer B tries to connect to A with a (previously valid) IPv6 TCP address:<br />
<br />
Peer B get the IPv6 address suggested<br />
Peer B obtains a new session<br />
Peer B sends a CONNECT message with this session<br />
CONNECT_MSG cannot be sent!<br />
Peer B destroys the session, but not the address<br />
Address gets suggested again!<br />
-> Vicious circle! No connection!
Iterating over all plugins for NAT tests does not work. Iteration is aborted after first plugin and tests fail...
The current extension skeleton can't be used with gnunet-java, this must be fixed.
... and there must be a way for the voters to retrieve the public key, in order to encrypt votes with it.
Currently, the semantics of canceling a request and finishing a request are not clear and not documented.
When voting tests fail / are interrupted, they can leave some processes still running. On exit, the python script should try to get rid of all started processes.
The test case<br />
org.gnunet.mesh.MeshTest > test_mesh_send<br />
randomly fails with a timeout.
