How To Build Traffic and Make Money Using Online Reviews Sites?

This post is written for the purpose of a question I was asked by one of my clients. I had answered them through chat and I forgot about it. But, today I saw the same kind of question posted by one Digital Point member and thought of writing a post about it.  These clients of mine have a good domain name concerned to online review site. They have a good chance of getting good articles written and also get insane amounts of traffic at the starting stages too due to their PPC campaigns and Facebook ads.

So, I called them up and told that I will also write a post about it on my blog. They were more than happy with it as they can refer to it whenever possible. And also, they can choose me any time to take over some of their campaigns when they are ready with the site and content.

Here is a list of their questions and my answers:

Part One: Keyword Research For Bloggers and Internet Marketers

We are proud to present a 6 part series on describing how Keyword Research is to be performed. This series is written to assist Bloggers and Internet Marketers to create valuable content and increase traffic to their blogs and marketing sites. This series will be of great assistance to several guys and gals who are treading in a wrong path in the aim to produce valuable content and make money online. You can keep track of these 6 parts by Subscribing to our RSS feed or by Subscribing through our Email service.

As a freelancer who has been working with SEO experts and Content creators, the first statement I would like to say to my clients is: Identify and Categorize the keywords before starting any SEO campaign. This is the first and foremost suggestion I give my clients and they start ‘telling’ me what their set of documents have in the guise of keywords. Their in-house(read, friend or colleague or acquaintance) SEO specialist looked at their product, read a few documents related to the product and ‘suggested’ these keywords to which the site and the product page should rank for in the search engine results.

This is where they had laid the first wrong step. And this is how they should be treading in such a slippery situation of choosing, identifying and categorizing the right keywords for any SEO campaign.

Google Search Results Get Facelift-Displaying Profiles of People Separately

Google has rolled out a cool feature which displays the profile of a person you are searching for in a frame on to the right side of the search results. This looks way cool because the ads are gone and as I checked for few results, I got the profiles of only people but not of any products or softwares.

I was watching a movie side by side while working on a project and I needed to check the profiles of the cast. So, I was heading on to IMDB to have a glance but instead searched for the actress name in the Mozilla Firefox browser address bar. And got the results from Google in this way. Continue reading →

Create Mockups and Wireframes For A Website or Product or Service For Free in Browser

Any web designer, web developer or a product or service creator needs a set of rough drawings to put her idea on to the paper for the first time. Later on, there would be different set of updates on the same roughly drawn sketches improvising the product by adding more features into it. Technically, these rough sketches are called as Mockups or Wireframes.

Mockups or Wireframes assist a developer and designer to plan their products and services like web apps, mobile apps more elaborately. They also help her in sharing her idea with peers and fellow developers while asking for more assistance. This helps her in getting more creative ideas from her peers which can improve the performance of the product when it hits the prototype stage. Continue reading →

Finding No Time to Post

These days I have been working myself to exhaustion. The reason behind it is, we are building a startup for local Indian market to cater to content curation. While we have also looked at other lucrative sections like e-commerce and service oriented industry, we could not assure ourselves that we can be the next big fish in the pond. And as many market segments are already filled up to the brim with entrepreneurs and their startups, we shifted our gears and put on our goggles to check more into the market we have decided to ponder into.

And, oh boy, we are excited as we have opened up the gates for beta users and we are seeing a healthy growth in the number of people using our service. We are refining it at the moment with the feedback we are receiving from our users. Thanks guys. You rock!
