About us

RMIT Link is responsible for provision of services and programs in sport, recreation, fitness and arts and culture. Programs are offered on the University’s City, Brunswick and Bundoora campuses, and through partnerships and venue hire arrangements at a range of sites in Melbourne.

In providing these services, RMIT Link aims to contribute to the RMIT Student Experience, www.rmit.edu.au, we also build community, provide learning and skill development opportunities for students. RMIT Link operates through a core of professional staff employed by the University, but we create opportunities for student involvement in the development and delivery of RMIT Link programs.

RMIT Link is primarily funded by an annual grant from the University, and also raises income from fees attached to some of our programs, and from external sponsorships.

RMIT Link operates as a controlled entity of RMIT University, through a Board of Management established in accordance with the RMIT Link Constitution (RMIT University Statute 10A).

Organisationally, RMIT Link is part of the Students Portfolio, which is responsible for identifying, planning and implementing services that meet the needs and aspirations of RMIT’s different student groups. In addition to RMIT Link, the Student Portfolio consists of the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Students, the Academic Registrar’s Group, and the Student Services Group.
