We are always interested to hear from our customers and frequently conduct market research surveys. We also regularly measure how satisfied customers are with the services we provide.
This includes a survey of our
members and registrars and also customer satisfaction surveys of
registrants.
These surveys are usually by email invitation to a broad sample of customers.
We also run consultation surveys on issues of Nominet governance and policy. These
public consultations are open to anyone with a view on, or interest in, how Nominet is run and the .uk domain name register is managed.
From time to time we may run research programmes into specific areas of our business and the services we offer. These surveys are also usually run by emailing a cross section of our customers.
If you do receive an email asking for feedback we would be grateful for your participation. However, if you object to receiving such emails, you can unsubscribe by clicking the appropriate link in the email.
Details of how to contact us for any query you may have are

Current programmes:
- Nominet are seeking registrant feedback on the renewals process to help us improve the service we offer customers in the process of renewing their domain names. If you have recently renewed a domain name we may contact you by email to ask you to participate in a short survey.
- Nominet has recently submitted applications to secure the .cymru and .wales domains for the Welsh nation and to compliment our .uk portfolio. To help inform how we deliver .wales & .cymru products that best meets stakeholder needs, we invite you to share your opinion by participating in our Market Research programme. Registrars taking part in the research will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two iPads.
- We are currently performing research looking at what changes or improvements we could offer that would help .uk domain names remain competitive, attractive and trusted.
