Installation
Installing Traffic Control is easy. Simply:
- Read the installation guide in the Traffic Control manual
- Download the tar ball
- Run install.sh as root
- Follow the instructions presented by the installer
- Modify your mail server configuration to accept Traffic Control as a proxy
- Start Traffic Control using the start-proxy.sh command
The following terminal output can be used as a quick guide to the install process – note that a complete installation guide is provided in the manual:

License
Traffic Control 3 for Spam Assassin is commercial software, but is free for non-commercial use (i.e. "Free" as in "Free Beer"). Whether you are a commercial or non-commercial user, a valid electronic license is required if you receive more than 10,000 SMTP connections per day. See below to find out how you can obtain a license.
Note: Academic institutions and government bodies are considered commercial users; however, special discounts are available.
