San Francisco, CA -- July 1, 1996--CNET, Inc. today announced its initial
public offering on the Nasdaq National Market under the trading symbol CNWK.
The initial public offering price for 2,000,000 shares of Common Stock was
$16.00 per share. Morgan Stanley and Co. Incorporated, Hambrecht & Quist LLC
and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell/C.J. Lawrence Inc. co-managed the offering.
