Anything my children have outgrown or no longer play with will always be given to someone else who can make use of it. How many times have you visited a customer and found a cupboard full of equipment that is no longer being used? 👀 Equipment that has been replaced but is still sitting there, taking up space. I have a village when it comes to my children, and I rely on each and every one of them. There have been times when, for whatever reason, I haven’t been able to collect my children on time, so I rely on the resources and support I have around me. Nothing is guaranteed, and I think the same principle applies here. You can plan for what you know you need today, but circumstances can change very quickly. So, are you only ordering enough equipment to cover the number of employees you have at that particular time? And if your headcount increases, or something unexpected happens, what is your backup plan? Having that flexibility and a support network in place means you’re prepared when things don’t go exactly according to plan
