The DP World Tour has today announced that ALDAR, the Abu Dhabi-based real estate development, investment and asset management company, will become the new Title Partner of the 2026 Abu Dhabi Championship, the first of two events in the season-ending DP World Tour Play-Offs. In a further signal of the tournament’s popularity, six-time Major Champion, current Masters Champion, and current Race to Dubai Champion Rory McIlroy has confirmed that he will play in the tournament once again this year. https://lnkd.in/eaaUW57k

1 birdie = 10 trees 🌳 FedEx and the Arbor Day Foundation are teaming up to make every birdie at the 2026 FedEx Open de France even more meaningful. For every birdie made on the 16th hole during this week's tournament, FedEx will commit to planting 10 trees to help address the effects of climate change.

US PGA Championship winner Aaron Rai is the latest Major champion joining the stellar line-up at the 2026 DP World India Championship. At the BMW PGA Championship, the DP World Tour joined forces with Alzheimer's Society to support its Sport United Against Dementia (SUAD) campaign. On Friday, during the second round of the Rolex Series tournament, one player from marquee three-ball groups had their name removed from caddie bibs and walking scoreboards as they played the third hole at Wentworth Club. The par and yardage information was also removed from the third tee. These symbolic actions highlighted important “one in three” statistics ahead of World Alzheimer's Day today. Because every three minutes someone in the UK develops dementia, one in three people born today will develop dementia, and one in three people with dementia do not have a formal diagnosis.
