Delivering better infrastructure takes more than bricks and mortar. Public-private partnerships, or P3s, bring government and private sector expertise together to deliver major infrastructure. Tonight, our global healthcare sector lead, Helen Pickering, will be at the P3 Awards in New York, which recognise projects and partnerships across the Americas. If you’re there tonight, say hello to Helen Pickering. #P3Awards #Infrastructure

In hospitality development, speed creates opportunity. That makes this year’s theme at ITHIC, Accelerate Your Development in Italy, a timely one. From 30 September to 1 October, investors, developers, operators and hotel brands will meet in Milan. They’ll discuss what it takes to get projects moving in a changing market. For us, moving faster starts with getting the basics right. Know the cost. Test whether the project works. Find the risks early. And make sure there’s a clear route from investment to delivery. Get those things right from the start and it’s easier to make decisions, manage risk and move with certainty when the right opportunity comes along. If you'll be there and would like to meet with Matteo Mantovani, Enrico Curini and Stefania Buscemi, please get in touch.

Healthcare estates teams face a difficult question: where should limited capital go first? With ageing buildings, growing maintenance backlogs and increasing risks to patient care, a Six Facet Survey may not give estates teams enough information to make that call. Jerome Edwards, Director of Building Surveying UK, looks at how healthcare organisations can build a stronger evidence base for future estate planning. Together, we bring greater certainty to complex projects. As part of the Sidara collaborative, we work alongside our partner companies to combine expertise and tackle complex challenges for our clients. This year’s annual report shows that thinking in action, from bringing greater certainty to client projects to supporting the communities where we live and work. Read the report below.
Growing Together, Shaping What’s Next. In 2025, Sidara surpassed USD 3.6 billion in gross revenue. Since then, we’ve welcomed Wood and grown to more than 55,000 people across 70+ countries. But the story behind those numbers is about much more than growth. Our 2026 Annual Report explores the projects shaping communities around the world, the people driving change across our group, the progress we’re making on our sustainability priorities, and the opportunities ahead for our companies and specialty brands. Together, our people are combining expertise, advancing ambitious projects and helping shape what comes next. Are we heading towards a two-tier healthcare estate? That’s the question at the heart of this year’s IHEEM Healthcare Estates Conference. On the one hand, major investment is going into new, digitally enabled facilities. On the other, older infrastructure remains under pressure. How do we bridge the gap between strategy and delivery, and make sure both meet the changing needs of patients, staff and communities? Our healthcare team will be at Healthcare Estates 2026 to join that conversation. We’re looking forward to sharing our experience, hearing different views and exploring how better planning, investment and delivery can improve healthcare estates. If you’re attending, come and meet the team at Stand H27. Whether you want to discuss an upcoming project, talk about your existing estate or simply exchange ideas, we’d be pleased to see you. Turning our brand strategy into something people can be part of. Launching a new brand is one thing. Bringing thousands of colleagues with you is another. That was the challenge behind our brand launch last year. So we started by listening to our people. We built a campaign that could reach colleagues around the world. And we introduced a new expression of the value we bring: The Value of Certainty. Last week, that work was recognised by the Institute of Internal Communication. We won Best Strategic Alignment & Strategy Communication and received an Award of Excellence for Best Global Communication Campaign. A welcome recognition for everyone who helped bring our brand to life, and continues to do so today.

Is your Six Facet Survey doing enough for your healthcare estate? It can tell you what condition your buildings are in. But does it give you enough information to decide what to tackle first and where the biggest risks sit? Does it help you plan investment for the future? With ageing estates, growing maintenance backlogs and limited capital, that distinction is becoming increasingly important. In our latest Expert View, Jerome Edwards, Director Building Surveying, looks at why healthcare estates teams may need to go beyond the traditional Six Facet approach. And he explains what that means for making better long-term investment decisions. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/encjpT2U #BuildingSurveying #SixFacetSurvey #Healthcare
