Another achievement unlocked with the launch of the Republic of Singapore Navy’s second Multi-Role Combat Vessel (MRCV), Valour! As the overall programme manager and systems integrator, DSTA worked closely with the Navy, DSO National Laboratories, ST Engineering and industry partners to integrate best-in-class tech and equip the vessel with advanced warfighting capabilities. The MRCV is designed to be a combatant and mothership for a suite of unmanned systems. A big part of our engineers’ work is also ensuring the vessel is capable today, and ready for tomorrow’s challenges as tech continues to evolve. Our Chief Executive Chad-Son Ng recently shared his perspectives at the Temasek Defence Systems Institute Symposium at National University of Singapore, joining members of the Defence Technology Community, academia and students to discuss how emerging technologies are reshaping defence.
