But I'm still determined to do it, so I can put these posters up again. ❤️ What makes it harder is how well we're currently doing. Left side: Codex from OpenAI. Right side: Claude Code CLI extension. Copilot underneath. Codex and Claude Code have project instructions files set up. What makes it so different? 1. It feels like working with a team of engineers. Different models and agents excel at different things. With current set up, I can have discussions like with a team of engineers on the best possible solutions and approaches. 2. Agents handle the boring parts: documentation, refactoring, unit tests, and even commit messages. You get the best part: creative work. 3. Last but not least: productivity boost. On small, prototyping kind of projects, you are getting like 10 times productivity boost. Unfortunately, this boost does not scale very well to large production projects due to limited LLM context windows. The bigger the project, the more complicated architecture, the more you have to play with RAGs, system prompts, project instructions, vector DBs, slicing and dicing complicated problem into smaller problems, but the productivity and quality improvement is still significant. #AI #AIEngineering #DeveloperTools #MachineLearning #ClaudeCode

Crossing it knowing the effort supports a real cause is even better. Mission 500 is one of the best parts of #ISCWest week because it adds something simple and grounded before the day turns into a full sprint of meetings. Huge respect to the Mission 500 team for running this so well, and to everyone who showed up early to run or walk. There was a strong sense of community this morning, people encouraging each other, moving together, and doing something that matters. Now I am heading into the expo with more energy than I expected. The new CVA separates objective quality, flavor description, and personal preference, giving a clearer and more structured understanding of a coffee’s true value. New standard was met with a lot of drama from the industry and to be honest I was very skeptical about it. So... what is the best way to understand what that all drama was about and how to reduce my skepticism? Obviously - join the course, learn about the system. After the course I am still bit skeptical but also see way more value in it. It is still far from ideal, although surely a step forward. Thank you Asociacija Kavos Entuziastai for bringing the course to Vilnius. And Edita Chodarcevic for a knowledge and great time!
