Ray Guden shared thisChatGPT Astra 6 just made half your agency retainer pointless. It sees your screen, hears your calls, acts in real time. No prompting tricks. I spent a weekend with the demos and honestly came out annoyed I'd billed for some of this stuff myself over the years. My prediction for the next 18 months. Maybe 12. Three line items die first: 1. Creative briefs. Astra watches real customers use your real product and drafts the brief in minutes. The agency version took two weeks and a "discovery workshop." 2. Audience research. It sits in your sales calls and hands you objections word for word. A $6k persona deck can't compete with that. 3. Campaign reporting. The monthly PDF a junior built on Friday afternoon. Just gone. What survives is judgment. Astra will hand you everything about your business. It won't tell you which 20% of it is worth acting on. That part still takes someone who actually understands how your business breaks. So the founders who get what Astra does will quietly stop paying for what it replaces. Plenty will keep paying out of habit.

Ray Guden shared thisFortuna One has wrapped across Sydney and Perth 🎉 I had the privilege of leading the digital marketing for the event, helping drive over 12,000 ticket sales in under five months. A lot of my world during that time revolved around campaigns, creative, budgets and ticket numbers. Seeing those months of work turn into rooms full of people was something I’ll remember for a long time. With Tony Robbins, Gary Brecka, Kayla Itsines, John Lee, Paul Siderovski, Steven Bartlett, Troy Harris, and so many incredible speakers taking the stage, there was plenty to remember. Thank you to Gianni Michelini, Paul Siderovski and Tom Hegarty for the trust and the opportunity to take on something this ambitious. To our marketing team, thank you for the ideas, the effort and the willingness to keep pushing right through to the finish. I’m proud of what we achieved together. And to everyone who delivered the experience, from the event and production teams to the crew and volunteers, thank you for making it something people will be talking about long after this week. There’s a lot that goes into getting people through the doors, and just as much that goes into making them glad they came. Proud to have been part of both the team and the story. ❤️ The legends: Jane Oja, Criselle L., Andrew Brennan, Henry Phillips, Meg Christensen, Essam E., Jordan Mealings, Laurence Ridge, Katie Berton #FortunaOne #Advertising #Marketing #SydneyEvents #Ads #LiveEvents #Sydney #Perth

Ray Guden reposted thisRay Guden reposted thisAustralia, I'm excited to be coming back to you at the end of this month! If you're a business owner, an investor, or someone building toward something bigger, you already know that the last few years have brought more change to how we run our businesses, build wealth, and stay well than the last hundred combined. Technology's moving fast, and the way we lead has to move with it. I'll be in Sydney on September 22nd and 23rd for the Fortuna One Summit — two days on business, wealth, health, and mindset. Get your tickets now. I can't wait to see you there. 🎟️: fortunaone.com

Ray Guden reposted thisRay Guden reposted this11 years ago, I applied for leave to attend what I thought was just a personal development course. I went with two friends. I was a recruiter with a UK firm. Hitting bigger targets every year. Doing well on paper. But I was miserable. Then Tony Robbins put one sentence on the screen: Progress = Happiness. And it hit me. I wasn’t unhappy because I wasn’t successful. I was unhappy because I had stopped growing. That trip became one of the catalysts for me eventually leaving my job and building something of my own. Funny how the decisions that change your life rarely feel life-changing when you make them. Sometimes you just book the ticket. Take the leave. Walk into the room. And 11 years later, you realise your entire trajectory changed. So… I just booked another ticket. ✈️ Sydney 🇦🇺 Tony Robbins. Round 4. See you at Fortuna One, 22–23 September. 🔥 Fortuna One P.S. We also need to talk about why 2015 me thought that T-shirt was acceptable conference attire. 😂

Ray Guden shared thisYour ads might not be broken. You might just be fixing the wrong problem. When performance drops, the easiest thing to blame is the campaign. Change the audience. Change the budget. Duplicate the ad set. Swap the headline. Refresh Ads Manager 30 times. Then hope the numbers suddenly look better. But sometimes the campaign is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. It is showing you that something else is weak. No clicks? The creative or hook is not strong enough. Clicks but no leads? The offer or landing page is creating friction. Leads but no sales? The follow-up, qualification or sales process needs work. Cheap leads that never buy? That is not a win. Expensive leads that turn into profitable customers? That might not be a problem. Good marketers do not just optimise ads. They diagnose the entire path from attention to revenue. Because Meta can amplify demand. It cannot invent it. It can deliver leads. It cannot make your team call them quickly. It can generate traffic. It cannot make a weak offer suddenly feel valuable. So before changing another campaign setting, ask: Is the problem actually inside Ads Manager? Or is Ads Manager simply exposing it? Stop refreshing the dashboard. Find the real bottleneck. Then fix that.

Ray Guden shared thisEvery marketer has prayed to Zuckerberg for a lower cost per lead. Some light candles. Some refresh Ads Manager every 14 seconds. Some duplicate the campaign and hope the algorithm forgets what happened. But sadly, Zuckerberg cannot save: A weak offer. Boring creative. Confusing messaging. A landing page built like a tax form. Or a sales team that calls the lead three days later. The algorithm matters. But it is not a miracle worker. A good cost per lead usually comes from getting the basics right: A strong offer. Clear positioning. Creative that actually stops the scroll. A page that converts. Fast follow-up. And a sales process that can close. So yes, say a quick prayer to Zuck. Then go fix the campaign.

Ray Guden shared thisThis is on point. It's all about the offer. Most business owners look for help with their ads and rinse agencies like rolls of toilet paper, yet have never hired someone to help with their actual problem. The offer.Ray Guden shared thisI have worked in marketing long enough to realise something. The best marketers I know aren't experts in Meta Ads. Or Google Ads. Or SEO. Or LinkedIn. They're experts at figuring things out. Give them a business they've never worked with before. They'll ask 100 questions. Who buys this? Why do they buy it? Why don't they buy it? Who are the competitors? What happens after a lead comes in? Where are we losing people? And THEN they'll talk about channels. The average marketer starts with: “Let's run Meta Ads.” A good marketer starts with: “Why would anyone buy this?” There's a massive difference. Marketing tools will change. Algorithms will change. AI will change how we work. But understanding people? That's one marketing skill that will never become obsolete.

Ray Guden liked thisRay Guden liked thisTwo days out of the business. A lot to bring back into it. Last week I spent two days at the Fortuna One Global Summit 2026 in Sydney — and came home with plenty to think about. I went looking for motivation, perspective and ways to improve what I’ve already built. There were some incredible speakers covering business, mindset, wealth, health, AI and personal development, but a few things really stuck with me. Tony Robbins spoke about energy, presence and how we show up. As a business owner and leader, it was a reminder that the energy we bring into a room has a huge impact on our team, our clients and the people around us. Kayla Itsines brought it back to consistency - boring wins. There’s always another shiny idea in business, but often growth comes from doing the fundamentals really well, over and over again. Shelley Sullivan spoke about building brands, not just products. That resonated with me as we continue defining the Get Staged Difference and what we want people to feel when they interact with our brand. There was also a huge focus on AI and automation and how we can use it practically to simplify systems, remove repetitive work and give ourselves and our teams time back. I’ve already signed up for further AI training with John Lee, which I’m really excited about. And Aaron Sansoni got me thinking bigger about what building your own “empire” actually means. Success and wealth look different for everyone. How big do you want to build? What do you want your business to give you? And ultimately, how do you want to land? Five years into Get Staged, that gave me a lot to think about. What does the next five or ten years look like? What role do I want to have in the business? And what am I actually building towards? There was also a pretty cool full-circle moment. Paul Siderovski who created Fortuna One, was someone whose cars I detailed for years when I owned my car detailing business. Fast-forward to now and I’m sitting at an event he created, running a completely different business of my own. Small world. A huge shoutout to Katrina Kavvalos as well for doing an incredible job hosting the two days. I came home motivated by what we’ve already built, aware of where I can improve, and excited about where Get Staged can go next. Sometimes growth isn’t about finding the next thing. It’s about getting better at what you’re already doing - and making sure what you’re building is taking you where you actually want to go. Two days very well spent. 👏 #FortunaOne #BusinessGrowth #Leadership #Entrepreneurship #AI #PersonalDevelopment #GetStaged

Ray Guden liked thisRay Guden liked thisSix months ago, we had an idea. This week, we brought Fortuna One to life for more than 15,000 people across Sydney and Perth. What a week. Reading the posts and takeaways from attendees has been something special. The people they met, the ideas that challenged them, and what they’re going to do next. That’s what makes all the work worth it. To everyone who joined us in Sydney and Perth, thank you for making the time, trusting us and bringing your energy into those rooms. To our speakers and partners, thank you for helping turn an ambitious idea into something real. And to Paul Siderovski, thank you for the vision and belief to get this off the ground. But I especially want to recognise the team behind it all. An event like this takes an enormous amount of work that never makes it into the highlights video. You put in the late nights, worked the weekends, handled the last-minute changes and kept finding a way to get things done. Across marketing, sales, events, operations, production and every person on the ground, you made this happen. I’m incredibly proud to have played a part alongside you. Here’s a glimpse of Sydney. To everyone who was part of this week, in either city: thank you. We started with an idea. Look what we did together. If your website is generating traffic but not enough enquiries, the issue may not be your marketing — it’s your website engagement. Most websites still rely on: ✅ Static contact forms ✅ “Email us” buttons ✅ Waiting for visitors to take action The problem? Modern buyers want instant answers, not forms and delays. This is where AI chatbots are changing how NZ businesses capture and convert leads. https://lnkd.in/grPPQtrd

A keyword can show one result set in Parramatta and a very different one in Bondi, Liverpool, or Sydney CBD. Different map packs. Different organic pages. Different competitors. Different intent. That is why valentin.app is useful. It gives you localized SERPs from an exact location without adding extra layers of tools. So instead of guessing what Google shows in a market, you can see it closer to how the user sees it. That changes the quality of your decisions. You stop building one generic page and hoping it ranks everywhere. You start seeing whether Google wants: a suburb page a service page a directory-style result or a GBP-heavy result You also catch where the problem is not rankings. It is local relevance. Wrong phrasing. Weak local signals. Poor page-to-location match. That is where better SERP research becomes real growth work. Better pages. Better GBP alignment. Better local targeting. valentin.app is simple. But simple tools that improve decision quality are usually the ones that matter most.
